The Douglas County Kids' Fishing Derby is a FREE, volunteer run event open to all children ages 3 to 12 years old. The Derby will take place on Saturday June 6th and Sunday June 7th at Lampe Park in Gardnerville, and includes 7 Fishing sessions. Pre-Registration is required to receive your child's Session Ticket. Child anglers will be permitted a 2 fish limit and are provided everything they need to have a fun and rewarding fishing experience. Child anglers will also receive a special gate prize for attending the event.
